This is why queers have such bad reputations. It isn't that anyone really cares. It is because they choose to make spectacles of themselves.

Some of them act like teenagers. One guy I know, who I've known since high school, just puts the gay lifestyle on display. I understood it when he was in his 20s. But it is just kind of childish at this point.
