Yep. But sometimes it is appropriate. Especially when the people in question are actually knowledgeable on the topic and the person with the opposing view is not. Granted, they aren't always correct, especially when it involves opinions or projections, but given the choice...

And that is what we have here. Most of the opponents of the deal are doing it out of reflex. Heck, most were opponents even before any details were known. None have more than superficial knowledge of the details, the situation or the region. When challenged, they feebly wave their hands in the direction of Israel and mumble "Bibi says"...

I will point out that in Israel itself, Mossad and the IDF, who can be considered as having at least some knowledge of Iran, think that Bibi is wrong on Iran. But they have it easy They don't have to run for election.

Oh. Kudos for actually recognizing a possibly fallacious argument. Now try to apply these techniques to your own posts. They will be better for it.
