I hate to put salt in your wounds but this news could be seen as lost market share for Corel in the windows graphics area. It was released after the bell so I'm not sure if the sharp price drop in Corel was related to this. On the other hand if the market is growing then this should not affect the graphic business for Corel.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (Nasdaq: ADBE -news) today reported financial results for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended November 28, 1997. For the fourth quarter of fiscal 1997, Adobe achieved $227.1 million in total revenue,compared to $207.7 million posted in the fourth quarter of fiscal 1996. Net income reported for the fourth quarter was $46.8 million, or $0.64 per share based on 73.6 million weighted average shares.
For the quarter, 56% of Adobe's total application products revenue (excluding platform-independent and UNIX products) came from the
sales of products for the Windows platform and 44% were related to the Macintosh platform. On a year-over-year basis, application products revenue on the Windows platform grew 49%, and application products revenue on the Macintosh platform declined 19%.
