You're forced to defend a candidate who voted for the Iraq war. And who opposed gay marriage:

As a senator, she voted for the Iraq War. Once public opinion began to turn, so did she.

Evolve is a nice way for the liberal media to explain how Democrats change their opinion without coming right out and calling them liars and cowards who don’t take a stand until it’s safe to do so.
