I'm thinking this data explains the interest Teck would have to put a 1500 m drill program in the LaCasse target. The key hole is 2012CF427(they haven't corrected the 2011CF427 typo on the map) which has the following description. " The upper portion of this drill hole from 8.0m to 428.12m returned highly variable copper concentration ranging from 0.02 to 0.34% copper over individual sample intervals. The core interval from 428.12m to 764.84m returned relatively consistent copper values with certain zones showing higher grades of copper over variable intervals. The core interval from 511.0m to 523.0m contains significantly higher grades of copper, gold and silver.
Then there's hole 430 which was terminated prematurely to drilling conditions but contained anomalously high silver and never reached the main zone intersected by hole 427. The higher precious metal concentrations suggest a different zone from the Discovery zone. There may be only two or three holes drilled based on the 427 results. This program won't add any resource to this project but may provide Teck sufficient incentive to continue development. The next JV news may shed some light on the program details.
