You are grossly misrepresenting my position. Here is the flaw in your logic. You used the word "pure", while I purposefully avoided it. I do not believe in "pure" in this world. That is a leftist term, and it constitutes an extreme misrepresentation of my simple position.

My point was simply that people who largely follow the conservative ideologies in life would find a happier life in the conservative country. Those who largely follow the leftist ideologies in life would find a happier existence in the leftist country. If a specific family is so mired in conflict that the family members don't really know what they believe, they would probably find a happier existence in the leftist country.

Your idea of the state splitting up families and assigning them to one country or the other is your idea, Gersh, not mine.

Your biggest desire in life, judging by your posts, is a desire to smoke marijuana. That's fine, but I wouldn't want you smoking marijuana and driving a bus into my home, or running over me and my wife while you are high and driving around.

Plus, most druggies are losers in life. I'm not saying you are. You seem like a decent fellow, what little I know about you. But the general perception of druggies is that they are burden to society because they cannot hold jobs and cannot remain self-reliant. Why should I remain clear-minded and have to support druggies while they're high and unemployable, with their lives in complete disarray?

You want everyone to have the right to take illicit drugs, but you conveniently stop there after insisting that the government not interfere with your right to take rights. What if the government also stops interfering with the responsibility of druggies to completely pay for their own mistakes in life, with no welfare, food stamps or other freebies from me? How about that? Isn't that fair, too?

Everything that I have described represents the big difference between the kind of country that you want to live in and the kind that I want to live in. You want a country with much lower standards and higher risks, where marijuana is the norm and people can drive around high and kill people, and leech from those who are employed or own businesses.

When arrested for violent crimes or "accidents", the leftists would just blame it on drugs and absolve the druggies of their crimes. We see it happen quite often, in fact:

He wasn't really responsible for killing that man. It was the booze!

He wasn't really responsible for killing that girl. It was the drugs!

He wasn't really responsible for raping that woman and cutting her throat. It was a life of experiencing constant racism, bigotry and discrimination that made him lash out! He's the real victim!

To hell with that! I don't want to live in a country like that. I want to live in a country that doesn't accept those kinds of excuses and, instead, punishes the perpetrators rather than coddling them and blaming everyone else.
