I don't know the details of the case so I could easily be missing something, but I can't see how this is a good verdict. If the doctors were hired by MDVIP, even as contractors, and/or if MDVIP managed them and controlled the treatment, then the verdict might make sense.

Part of the claim seems to be that MDVIP was falsely advertising quality. One case of genuine malpractice by one of the doctors (assuming the facts are accurately reported here and this is such a case), doesn't necessarily indicate low quality generally or even lack of higher than average quality. Also even if it was false advertising that would seem to be something separate from malpractice.
