I figure once someone is stopped, deadly force is no longer required.

This was probably an accidental execution. For that human at that moment, what defined deadly force had changed.

When we accidentally kill someone, that's called manslaughter or something similar.

I've been through the arrest process a few times. I have a torn rotator cuff from when I was "stood up."

My experience has revolved around very sick people. Elderly people. People that had heart attacks and fell down dead. People with weakened bones. Attacked in their homes because of their medicine and those that thought "I don't care what that new law says. "

Prosecutor instructions started out with "arrest them all and let the courts sort them out." That was years ago. Seven of them. Things have taken that long to reach the State Supreme Court.

It's taking time. Many people that have been arrested are simply to sick to fight. Many have died waiting for trials and hearings. Most simply take a plea deal so the fighting can end.

It's one matter to get a law passed. It's another to get the system to honor a new law. Many within the system take it upon themselves to inflict suffering on the sick and dying for as long as possible.

"They deserve it."
