Images have saved my butt a few times. I use to use Drive Image by PowerQuest years ago, before Symantec took them over. One time I got the I love You Virus from a file sharing site back in around 2001, wiped out all my MP3's and photo collection. Restored an image and I was back up and running in less than 1/2 hour.

Never used file sharing sites after that.

Note: My MP3's are not pirated, they are from my huge CD collection.
