I'd like to see a Kasich-Walker ticket. Kasich has more experience than the others, has turned Ohio around in his executive role as governor and has Federal legislative experience to round out his resume. He is also a spending hawk having played a key role in balancing the Federal budget during the later Clinton years. Ohio's budget has gone from a deficit to a surplus during his time in office as well.

Cruz is a little too polarizing to appeal to the moderate Republicans who would probably stay at home on election day if he was the nominee. Republicans staying at home got us a second Obama term and essentially would get us a third and perhaps fourth Obama term if Clinton gets the nomination. Rubio's experience reminds me too much of the current President even though his past State legislative experience is more hefty than community organizing. He's young enough where he would still be a very viable candidate even after 16 years of Kasich and Walker assuming he can get a few notable accomplishments under his belt in the Senate during that time.

Walker would be viable as a successor after a successful eight year Kasich term. Kasich and Walker could also deliver Ohio and Wisconsin which will be pivotal states in 2016. Timing will be everything for Kasich. He's likely going to run. Will he wait too long to toss his hat in the ring? Walker has certainly been vetted to the hilt so he's probably clean, but there's always a possibility of a skeleton in Kasich's closet. The opposition will surely be looking for one if he gains any traction.
