SI The Night Before Christmas
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the threads Not a creature was stirring, Not even the Feds The stocks were all bought and purchased with care In hopes that the market would rise In the coming new year.
The share holders were nestled All snug in their beds, While visions of multi baggers Danced in their heads. Sophie in deep sleep and Randy in REMS, Dreamed of stock options Kimberlites and gems When out at Snap Lake There arose such a clatter, The caribou stood up To see what was the matter. Away to the south There was a bright flash, As a John Deere tractor Came north in a dash. . The moon on the breast Of the new-fallen snow Gave the luster of diamonds To objects below, When what to my wondering Eyes should appear But a mini submarine Pulled by nine shareholders sincere.
With a little old driver So lively, so wise and so sprite I knew in a moment It must be Saint George Trompite More rapid than ptarmigan The course they came. And he whistled and shouted And called them by name
"Now, Fixer! Now, Goldfinger! Now Surething! Now Fishman! On, Marcos!! On, Alfonso! Yo, Tomato! Yo Bill and that Chris man! To the top of the hill To the top of the lake! Now pull away, pull away, Pull away, all!"
As brex posters before The last great fall, They toiled away, And gave it there all, So up to Snap Lake They came in a hurry With the sleigh full of gear And Saint George in a flurry.
And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the ice The scraping and clawing Of the ice augers first bite. They all worked together and a hole they opened and then they lowered down the mini sub they had found Down through the thick ice down it went For down to the bottom of Snap it was bound.
The mini sub disappeared from sight And a hush fell over the share holders near As they watched, a few bubbles rose From the lakes dark and murky depths dear When suddenly the sub resurfaced And George flung open the hatches And he looked like an arctic hare Who had found the mother of all carrot patches.
His eyes, how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry! His cheeks were like roses, His nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth Was drawn up like a bow, And the stubble on his chin Was as white as the snow.
A piece of the illusive pipe He held tight in his hand A shout from the share holders Broke the silence like a brass band. George pulled out his mortar and pestle And the kimberlite down he ground Then sieved the fine powder when Out popped the biggest diamond ever found.
It sparkled and it shone It was so big and bright It was a marvel to behold As it flashed in the northern light A wink of his eye And a twist of his head Soon gave them all to know they had nothing to dread.
They spoke not a word but went straight to their work, They emptied the sub Of all its kimberlite irk Then laying a finger Aside of his nose, George gave a nod, Onto the John Deere they all rose
The old engine sprang into action To his team he gave a sign And away they all roared quickly leaving the scene of the crime. But I heard them exclaim, Ere they drove out of sight "We'll divide up the diamonds Once we get outta sight."
MERRY XMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL GOOD NIGHT!!!!! |
