Jury, Thanks for your hearty response. Maybe I'm just not with
it but I got to believe that there is a better way to fight the
pros than with hope. Where I get myself in the most trouble is
ignoring a clearly defined trend; that is, I fail to differentiate
between a company I like and its stock. That' why I like Steve's
play with Indexes, as it's harder to fall in love with an index.

Every mistake I've made in the last two months, failed to consider
the trend. No problem, more tuition paid to the Investment Institute
of Higher Learning, but I learned.
