I get the same thing with both Firefox and SeaMonkey but not all the time. I have these open with a lot of tabs but I think it is related to some Flash advertising that comes up on some of the pages as the same pages don't lock up my PC when using Chrome where I have Flash blocked on most sites. I find if I go do something for a few minutes, something times out and I can use the PC again.

I run two monitors with Windows 7 on an i7 Intel processor and 8GB RAM. Task Manager says I have plenty of memory and CPU so I think it is either a Javascript or a Flash file that tries to do something and it locks up the PC until they time out. I believe that is one reason Apple won't run Flash as they didn't like turning over the PC to an outside site...

Anyway, let me know if you find a solution other than waiting for it to time out.
