The worst public schools do one thing very well – they teach poor black kids how to stay in the American underclass


I always find it interesting that whenever an act of brutality, real or perceived, occurs, that would bring out the people in protest. But whenever the reports would come out about how bad the inner city schools were and how they were failing the kids that attend them, not a peep from anyone. From my point of view, I always thought that the poor schools were significantly more damaging than any other issues. It really robs the kids of any chance to break out of their present circumstances.
