thanks Sean that is a very thoughtfull post. The snail's pace which drives everyone crazy does me in also.. this is very typical of good american medical equipment companies that care a lot about people. (Ernie.. he can take his time maybe before he comes back...)
Unfortunately they get murdered in the marketplace by hungrier more aggresive companies..that self destruct for poor quality and or planning etc.. My wish for next year is that they step up their pace a bit without driving themselves crazy... Honestly they deal with city and state ordinances and FDA rules and regulations etc... no matter how proactive they get they are pushing on regulatory noodles and city noodles to try and accomplish any little thing and that is the nature of their business. And knowing they need to swimm the longer mile they conserve capital everyway they can... Hopefully things will open up soon.. for instance Dc Harms machine is been ready waiting for the regulations and permits etc to fall in place for a very loong time... 2 maybe 3 months.. just waiting to ship... same thing occurred at Faulkner..they were fully 6 months waiting from the time they had hoped ... and so or hence lies the dissapointment...the street hates this... they face mountains of red tape and each hill needs to be climbed individually... happy conclusion of the clinicals may improve that outlook but not for another 12 or 14 months....Jack is gone to school on MDI and understands very well what he is doing...and you are
right management not owning significant stock positions kind of says they have better things to do with their money which does not exactly make them very vested in the outcome. this is a concern for sure. But so far they would have been early to the party and they figure they have time to buy still..
