John, funny you mention 3 com. I had a friend get in touch with me earlier about 3Com's quarterly coming in at $.04. I am not a steady follower of 3Com but in my mind, without knowing a lot of particulars, this looks horrible. Before anyone jumps on me, I understand their need to clear inventory, and their other excuses such as a touch of the Asian flu I wonder a bit about considering it only had a small time to effect the last quarter. If anything the Asian flu, if 3Com will use this as an excuse, should effect the company far greater in the months ahead. Regardless, I understand this isnt a 3Com thread, but since we are witnessing another company in our sector get hurt, it doesnt appear this will bode well short term. Perhaps I am looking at this the wrong way, and any followers of 3Com feel free to set me right. I have my own views on how this will impact MRVC short and long term, but it really serves little purpose to detail. I may seem over-bearish in one regard and over-exuberant in another. Sam
