McDonald's and Walmart are staffed by poor working Americans who are paid so little they are advised to apply for food stamps and medicare by their personnel offices. Both companies have recently been shamed into increasing wages. Gonna have to pay people more than that if you expect them to pick lettuce in 100 degree heat in fields full of poisons, for 12 hours a day, health care not provided.
