It's sweet- but ultimately, how can you respect the thinking of people who essentially believe in the Great Easter Bunny as adults? That's a toughy. One can respect them as people- they can be sweet, and helpful, and responsible- but how does one know their ability to believe in the unproven and irrational doesn't extend to other areas? So the Kumbaya speeches are nice, but, ultimately, they don't solve our problems- which are caused by people of "faith". People who believe in invading other countries without good evidence. People who don't believe in vaccinating their kids. People who believe we don't need to address global warming. People who believe in the end of days.

And in the country of Texas tonight some weird Xtians set up a situation designed to inflame Muslims. They had their own Piss Mohammed moment- creating a Mohammed cartoon contest, which, predictably, led to some shootings. Fire in a crowded theater. No doubt the wingnuts will be whooping it up tonight over the success of their provocation. I'm tired of all flavors of irrational.
