Two observations and a question: First, Roy just gave everyone our smoking gun as to why it is absolutely crazy to discuss major deals before they are inked on this board. If he's been a long time lurker (like me) and has been working for Brocade at the highest levels, we now have absolute proof that the competitors are plumbing for information from smug Ancor investors. Let's be more intelligent from now on, please. Second, most people would agree that the market for FC switches is less than a year away from some major supply constraints and possibly only three months away. Ancor, Brocade, et al., can grow rich together. IF!!! they were smart, they would avoid direct competition and concentrate on expanding a potentially hugely profitable segment. Question: No one has mentioned Ancor's near term cash flow issues in relationship to the Asian crisis. It's my understanding that Hucom/NTT is one of our most strategic customers. Any word on future relationships given Japan's currency/economic woes? Unless Hucom bought some currency hedges, they're looking at products which are 50% more expensive than 1 year ago.
