Janko, I do not believe that they are mutually exclusive. It goes
back to what are we trying to attain? Is it not a real economic
return?

OK, what is a real economic return? I define it as an increase in
purchasing power after taxes and after inflation. We can spend it
now or we can spend it later. Excuse me, but does it make any sense
to plan on spending it later if it cannot buy as much??? I have
this conversation frequently with my tax clients that I will call the
Depression Children. You have got to realize that their estate taxes
may well balance or eliminate the deficit, because they have yet to
realize that there is a reason that herses do not have luggage racks.

When I ""finally"" come to an understanding that my FA was flawed --
bye, bye! Please tell me I'm wrong on the tech stock losses I'm
holding, but do you really believe that the world is going to turn
around in the next month. Why should my clients pay taxes on profits
they did not earn? Not because this Dude is invincible! I do not
think that highly of myself! But again, just a humble opinion.
