Here's recent addition to my arsenal of camping tools. When buying bagged ice, the cubes are invariably fused into a block of ice from being stored stacked on top of each other. This usually required slamming the bag on the ground or on a picnic table bench to break up the block of ice. This little tool does the job without getting dirt all over the ice bag.

A 1 pound rubber mallet (often called a trucker's hammer):
