I always find it 'interesting' the kinds of tells people who get angry, and who stop thinking analytically, give off. For example:
it's too bad any family members you suckered into this POS likely don't share your shameless stupidity. Not that you have any reference point other than my say-so (which obviously you will chose to ignore as it doesn't fit your intended narrative) - but I haven't talked any of my friends, family, co-workers or acquaintances out here in the 'real world' into buying NNVC.
I generally don't talk to my friends, family, co-workers or acquaintances about investments or speculation other than in most general terms as that's their business, not mine. My risk is my own - and in fact since >90-95% of my investment cash goes into boring and relatively 'safe' things like index funds, and dividend paying stocks - my NNVC (and other specific speculative stocks I have owned) is not critical to my long-term financial stability.
I (in fact) recommend that most people do something similar - and don't take big risks with the bulk of their money. The only person I have consulted with regarding my investment in NNVC is my wife - who is onboard - especially since I haven't done anything silly and overextended using money we cannot spare in the unlikely (IMO) event that NNVC does go South in the long-run.
Now - the 'Tell' you have revealed is (IMO) two-part: It is - what I believe is referred to as 'Projecting'.
1) You obviously (either currently, or in the past) feel that you have 'suckered' friends, family or others who had reason to trust your judgment (accurately or no) into investments. You may (in fact) have done so with NNVC. This is a sore point in your psyche.
2) You may be concerned that your actions with NNVC, or with other stocks previously have gone south - and that those friends, family or others who thought they had reason to trust your judgment (accurately or no) are going to be unhappy (or have been before) with some final outcome. This may be a 'face saving' issue for a generally narcissistic personality.
But then again,.... I'm not a psychologist,.... just a scientist, reasonably successful (if usually boring and patient) investor, and generally observant person,.... so what do I know? Regards. |
