I don't think anyone mentioned the "size" of the airlines in question.

The question was which were "major" airlines, was it not?

It is a little nit picking, but from a competitive standpoint I can guarantee you none of these other airlines considers SW to be anything other than a major player. After all, they are killing the others domestically.

I would a step beyond that and point out that the leadership of SW is a product of deregulation and it is a decent example of what happens when markets become freer.
