I agree on some of the roi complaints with sales force automation. perhaps the vntv approach would reduce sales force resistance because the architecture is designed to make the lives of the sales rep easier, not the sales manager. One note though, CIS software has a broader appeal than ERP. There are just as many service companies and non-manufacturing organizations that could care less about a BAAN or SAP offering in the space. How about the IRS using Vantive? If the ROI results from these types of implementantions is coming into question, the underlying growth will not be sustained and the stocks will get crushed. Anyone have any thoughts from the early adopters about the ROI?
