The absurdity of it is too much. That a group of people can insist on the rest of the world refraining from drawing a picture and calling it a person.

This would be like Obama supporters saying, "In the future no one is permitted to draw a picture of Obama, and if you do we'll kill you."

I'm not sure how leftists can support such an absurd position.

Seems to me they've taken sides in the religious war between Islam and Christianity, and while it doesn't interest me I'm not sure what the point of it might be.
