It has now been just over 48 hours since my nightmare began. On Friday night around 11:36, my beloved husband of 31 years went home to be with Jesus. Mike was an incredible man. He loved the Lord and his family without question. He faced many medical issues with courage and strength that is nearly beyond my comprehension. He was braver than anyone I know in the face of illness. My heart is broken that he is no longer here with me. But He is in heaven with his Lord and Savior. He was able to WALK through the pearly gates without needing a walker or a wheelchair. He had no more pain and his body was whole once again. My life will never be the same, but then again my life changed forever the day Mike walked into my life! I have been blessed to call him my husband! I thank God for him and our 4 children. My heart is aching.......
