Pretty much all religions, 1500 or 1800 years ago, were violent. Not all, but most. So you can't single one out and say, "Those guys were haters back then."

In the rare occurrences, like abortion clinic bombings or Westboro, the Christian community today pretty much is outraged by those behaviors.

So, Christians are NOT a religion of hate the way Muslims are. I've known many Christians who were hypocrites or otherwise didn't live up to the creed; but there is no evidence of hatred in modern Christianity and I would argue when killing in the name of religion is a standard feature you can't really single one out.

The idea is that we're supposedly civilized today and Christians overall are more civilized than Muslims. As are most of the major religions. Islam is based on hatred.

WTF is with you and Chris? Has Islam taken over the Atheists all of a sudden?
