I've been using Windows 10 since the evaluation copies have been available.

I found it to be a considerable improvement over Windows 8.1, but it does have a few quirks. I first tried Build 9841, and was happy with it until it's time expired. Then, I installed Build 9926 and ran it until its expiry in mid April. I replaced this with Build 10041.

Build 10041 loved to freeze, but not solidly. I'd be lucky to get an hour of use before it wouldn't respond to mouse clicks. (I could move the mouse around, but clicking was fruitless.) Keyboard commands remained functional. A re-boot wasn't necessary to fix a freeze: a log-off and log-on would do the trick.

I put up with this nonsense for a week or so, gave up, and reverted to using Windows 7. Then Build 1074 appeared on April 30. So far, this build has been rock-solid reliable.

I've tried a couple of other builds along the way, but because they didn't make any lasting impression, for good or for bad, I've forgotten their build numbers.

Hope this helps.

Cheers, PW.

P.S. I'm sharing build numbers from my memory. Senior moments have a way of sneaking up on me, so they may not be accurate. Since Build 10074 appears on my current Desktop as a Watermark, it's the only one that I'm entirely sure I have correct.
