i've learned to stare at the lock and load for each round. once in a while i run a short stroke and end up with no powder in 9mm's. never happens with larger cases.

once in a super blackhawk, when i was shooting down into water, yeah i know.....i heard the gun fire, recocked and then thought....hmmmmmmm...no splash. checked things out and found a 240 gr. just past the forcing cone. wonder what pushing 480 gr. would have done to it?

as i age, i get more careful.
