NEW YORK -- More than two dozen Nasdaq dealers are in talks to reach a $900 million settlement with investors in a class-action lawsuit alleging that the firms rigged prices in past years on the Nasdaq Stock Market, according to people familiar with the matter.

LONDON -- J.P. Morgan & Co. was fined 350,000 pounds ($577,900) by the London Stock Exchange in connection with an incident in which two traders were found to have engaged in share sales in order to knock down the Financial Times-Stock Exchange 100 Share Index.
