NeuroInvestment, Thanks for the complimentory copy of NeuroInvestment and NeuroPractice. I especially enjoyed your article "The Next Generation of Stroke Drugs: 1998." I am excited about citicoline since we currently have little to offer acute ischemic stroke patients. The vast majority of them just do not meet the criteria for tPA. It appears from your article that citicoline will have little, if any, competition. I also believe, like you, that "the burden of justification will shift to why one would not use citicoline in a case of ischemic stroke." There will probably be a lot of "CYA" prescribing. Possibly crossover prescribing for TIA's (maybe dementia??). With this in mind what do you think the U.S. market will be for citicoline? Thanks again, Scott Pratho ER Doc
