I'm curious what management said about the future because some analysts predicted that next quarter INTS would start reporting strong earnings due to PRISM+.

Management emphasized that the company remains in a turn-around situation, which clouds earnings visibility. They acknowledged that much of their revenues are derived in the last month of each quarter (the hockey stick), which clouds visibility further.

Finally, management's unwillingness to provide pRISM+ numbers means that any analyst forecasting strong pRISM+ sales in the next quarter is taking a great deal on faith. There is no concrete evidence that the pRISM+ rollout has met with much success, since limp product sales may well be explained by standard pSOS+ business as usual.

I would emphasize that the good news seems to be that the embedded systems sector remains extremely active, perhaps even more active with the Asian crisis. This could enable INTS to continue meeting limited expectations without having to "put up or shut up" about pRISM+.
