I'm missing something in your analysis. Inadequate money supply causes deflation.

Are you seeing some indicator that implies the money supply is contracting relative to the GDP?

Has the Fed said they're no longer going to do coupon passes or buy back treasuries? Hint: Look near the end of the FOMC meeting minutes issued yesterday to see how much latitude the Fed Board gave the Fed to take action as they see fit.

I suspect that some of us are allowing our judgment to be coloured by myths long proven false.
