True enough but there is also a cap on the maximum Social Security benefit one can receive. Last I checked it was $2,663 @ month regardless of your contributions.

You claim we already have a sharp progressive income tax curve....and that we do...on paper. But there are far too many fat cat slime balls like Willard Romney and hedge fund managers who are already limited to a 15% MAXIMUM tax rate on millions of personal income. Willard doesn't even pay that much.

Tax these bastards.
