Bonnie: I don't know anything about ROC and its yield, but I'm also interested. There was some talk about on the Mohan thread last night by Ramsey Nashed, who picked up a post from a Mr. Huang:

I've always been skittish about high yield, since I bought Illinois power yielding 17% many years ago, then watched them eliminate the dividend and watched the stock go down the john.

What I wonder about ROC, is that if we buy it at 10, say, get the dividend at 3 in Jan, then does the stock immediately fall to 7 (its 52 week low, coincidentally) as with an ex-div stock?

Thanks.

Jack
