You are kidding, right? A Tesla Model S P85D produces 415 HP. And, due to the nature of electric motors, has huge amounts of torque at low RPM, just what a truck needs.

You can see this if you watch any of those videos where they run a Tesla against a variety of other cars. A Tesla Model S P85D beats almost everything. Those few that can beat a Tesla have a lot more horsepower than the Tesla, and still gets stomped off the line until the RPMs get high enough for the horsepower to be effective.
