A Mississippi man was kidnapped in his own vehicle by two armed men early Saturday and forced to drive them to an ATM to withdraw cash from his account.

But then they went too far. Ordering the man from his truck, one talked about going back to harm his wife.

The man grabbed a gun from the back of the truck and fired, killing one of the kidnappers, according to WJTV. The other is still at large.

Although the police call the killing justified, it will nonetheless go to a grand jury.
