Richard, I think you missed my point...

I didn't say you should buy because CNBC mentions a stock. I said you should buy it before! Once CNBC mentions it, it's only good for a couple of days run-up.

I don't see how this is following the crowd. Following the crowd would be to buy it when everyone and their Grandma heard about it on CNBC, AOL, etc. This is when it's time to sell. When everyone's mouths are drooling.

As to referrence about tech analysis (price, volume). I would much rather buy one of these stocks before they open 3 points higher (or even move 3 points after hours when I'm helpless), and sell into the big volume.
