I don't think it was God who got you that job .... just someone who thinks he's God.

VA salaries were very low. Yeah, but you can't get fired and you can goof off.

I didn't have to do a thing. Of course, if God took better care of them, I would have been hired for the teaching position.

Stanfurd Guy was pissed one of his employees didn't get the teaching job at the CC; his ego was hurt. The medical director at the VA, also the medical director at the school, .....

He calls her up and sez, "How come you didn't pick my guy with the MS in physiology?"
She says, "Really? Physiology? I need a director; let me see what we can do."

So two bureaucrats scratched one another's back and even though you didn't get the even cushier teaching job you would have liked better, your "rabbi" arranged you to get a job without having "to do a thing". Hallejulah.
