I was a little stirred up when I wrote that but things seem to be progressing much along the lines I was thinking. As the rest of the stock market approaches critical mass (as in too high to keep going up) where will investors go? The junior explorers are last gasping as they transform to the greenrush (marijuana grow ops) to try to stay alive and this hasn't gone un-noticed by the major gold miners as they cherry pick properties with proven potential/reserves. They have had a good run and have cash and depleted reserves and the natural force of supply and demand will drive gold prices higher. Pretium is in the envious position of having proven management, proven high-grade reserves and the ability to raise the funds to put this into production despite the attrition rate of junior explorers since Pretium's inception. Rich ground and a large enough reserve have the attention of the world wide mining community that have rated this as one of the top five in the world. Stable political climate and a ready workforce are the icing on the cake. This golden triangle of bc is going to be the new goldrush and we are also sitting on a large low-grade reserve called snowfield that is waiting for better gold prices. Snowfield neighbours Seabridge with the same grade of deposits that garners parity with pretiums shareprice but haven't proven up a Vally of the Kings highgrade deposit which is what is launching pretium. My first investment in this stock was @ $10 and my broker took me out at $15. Since then I have picked up a lot more and followed the story. I have more time now and do my own due diligence and use an online broker. I am more confident than ever in this investment and remain long. Ps. I did get excited about a marijuana breathalyzer stock called C.BLO which has done quite well and seem to be leading the pack (as in no viable competition). They are exhibiting at the Chicago Marijuana Conference May 19 and are displaying a Alpha model THC breathalyzer that is ready for testing. This pump could turn to gold too. glta and dyodd

Gold is up $20 CN. PVG in NY is down 10 cts? Gold holding over $1220 US is a good sign.

The housing start stats are tomorrow? Big week for US economics. I was down there last week (Spokane), it seemed fairly vibrant. Maybe their economy isn't as bad as I thought.

I totally agree! They state things in percent when it sounds better. 20% more of F all Is still F all.

Dutch I think you got it backwards. Seabridge is the long term investment with a huge low grade deposit in the golden triangle of BC. Pretium has a deposit called Snowfield bordering Seabridges deposit which is about half the size and about the same grade. Together these two deposits are considered to be the worlds largest low grade deposit but the economics are not right and the price of commodities are too low to make this viable at this time. Pretium has the Brucejack deposit which hosts the Valley of the Kings which has produced some phenomenally rich drill results and the slide rule calculator types estimate it at 15 grams per ton Au which by any standard is a rich deposit. This golden triangle of BC has had some extraordinarily rich gold deposits like Eskay Creek which produced up to 3 ozs Au per ton but was actually classified as a silver mine. The snipgold mine produced an oz per ton Au. By todays standards T.PVG is going to be a mine and the Quartermain team are pushing this along pretty quickly with production slated for 2017. There have been concerns over the Federal environmental license but this area is too important to the government of BC who just capitalized and built the Northwest Transmission line to provide cheap power for development and the Red Chris Mine is up and running and they are owned by Imperial Metals who had the big dam breach in Williams Lake but got permitted to go into production. The Pretium team consists of former Silver Standard people of which Bob Quartermain was the CEO and took Silver Standard from a couple of million dollars to several producing mines worth approx 2 Billion in better times. He came out of retirement I understand because he was aware of the Brucejack deposit and as a geologist had never seen core as rich as what they have. The law of supply and demand will firm the price of gold and the marginal producers will shut down which will tighten supply and drive the price up imho. lots of good info available at www.pretivm.com. dyodd and glta

thanks.
I have bought pretium and keep them.
I expect a lot of the company the coming years.

The same from IVANHOE MINES,with three worldclass assets.

I am a believer in RICK RULE who is very enthousiast about it.

I don't trust Rick Rule. He's a self-promoter and a liar.

Rick Rule has grown in my eyes because he puts his money where his mouth is. He never said that every or any particular project will be a mine,(which we all know) and he is not ashamed of selling when the price goes up. He finances people that have a need for money to answer questions about an anomaly-usually through private placements with warrants. Listen to his interviews on Sprotts Thoughts and I believe you will see a more thorough picture of Mr. Rule.

So do you mean that RR promotes himself so that you invest in him? LOL! Or that he just talks his own 'book'? All analysts self styled or otherwise (take the hint) talk their own book i.e. what they profess to believe in; whether this be sell-side or buy-side, they are just offering opinions no different in essence to your rather dramatic revelation here.

But what is your point? All you have really revealed is a subjective feeling, call it a personal insecurity regarding an individual whose analysis you either quibble with or not.

As for liar? Can you give some concrete examples for your audience? Then we will be truly enlightened as to all things.

Especially your implied point that, as RR is a liar, you do not believe in PVG.

Let's hear why not.

TIA.
