I don't follow this at all, but Colorado is water "wealthy" this season. Mostly above average snow pack in the mountains, where it's still snowing. High mountain roads that usually get plowed out for the Memorial Day week end will not be open this year due to the deep snow. Also, while that runoff will eventually get to Lake Mead, the eastern slope runoff part of Colorado is quite a bit above normal rain for the year. That means some of the water on the western slope will not have to be diverted over here on the eastern side of the mountains as it has been in the past. Not sure what all this will mean for AZ and CA.
