detonate, don,t blame you for being skeptical. let me give a little history.. my friend[we will call him randy, graduated high school with me. we both went to top notch colleges in the northeast, then ended up at another ivy for graduate school. me for dentistry, randy for business. after a short stint in the military we bot set out on our careers, randy in conn me in mass. we both bought our first homes about the same time, I will never forget him pissing and moaning about spending 90,000 on a house.by the time he left conn he sold his last house for 2 million. when he left wall street he started his co. in conn, put together a number of very successful commercial real estate projects. I would say that he had more than a slight grasp on conn real estate values... moving to fla he continues his business there and has done extremely well. he never lost his touch in residential real estate, however, when I saw him last june he was preparing to move out of his ocean front home which he had just sold for 4 million, to a comparable house he ownwd a few doors down. bottomline, randy knows his shit! I forget when he was in Shelton, but it was at the time we were told the new facility was "UP AND RUNNING". I argued with him[still believed at that time] that the lab was in transition..he hit me with so many facts and figures about the deal[wish I had written them down],that I started to wonder. I took rawnoc of ignore, took the blinders off ,and solda decent amount of nnvc. would I get back in? doubt it, but in the near future looks like we will have "boots and eyes" on the ground.. cannot wait to hear what they observe when in Shelton....keeping some dry powder just in case... hope that helps jcs
