Jhild, yes that was an interesting businessweek story.
Confirms that box makers (Dell, etc.) should keep making
money since they do not fully pass through their reduced
costs. The '98 Networking sales increase of 4.9% is much
lower than I have seen elsewhere. The overseas buildout
of the Internet has been a bust so far, but I think their
figure is too low.
