Charlie, >>>these people are not stupid -- they get paid hundreds of thousands, if not millions, annually -- not stupid in my book!<<<

You are absolutely correct. These people are not stupid. It is the people that pay them the millions that are stupid. You tell me that these brilliant people who get paid (as an example) to follow Oracle knew what they were doing? And if they aen't even looking at what has transpired, do you think they are able to look forward - more than 15 minutes out?

They are after all, paid to tell us about the future - and since crystal balls have not been invented yet, they compound their sins by pretending they have some method do this. And, as Paul Engel just said, everybody has an opinion - analysts are no different - they have an opinion.

It was like they were saying, with respect to Oracle, "hey Larry, lend me your watch and I will tell the investment community what time it is - only I wouldn't even necessarily verify if the watch was working or not".

Charlie, to paraphrase those guys on ESPN "there are no stupid analysts , only stupid people that pay them".

Regards,

Mary
