If what is coming out of the Millenium office is not true, they are doing one whale of a good con job on us. Have you seen anything that would indicate that they have not been honest with us shareholders. One thing that bothers me is the fact that their time table keeps changing. Is this because the negotiations with the first Company was allowed to lapse, thus changing their schedule or are we being strung along for the ride--please, give me the rocket, not the helecopter. I'm led to believe that the people in the office have an overly exuberent outlook on the future of this company.

Greg, the basis for most of what you call rumors has been the information coming out of the Millenium office. As a public relations firm, aren't they accountable for all information they dispatch. Are they in any way legally responsible for the information they give out.

In yesterday's post, #5954, Gary indicated that some of the new testing taking place is to confirm how extraordinarily good the analysis were on some of the structures. They want to double check the information before releasing it to the news media and also to give them more solid ground to stand on in the negotiations process. If there is a lot of money at stake, the Companies negotiating are going to want this information.

I have noticed that many of those with long positions have not been very active on this thread lately. There were very few negative posts from the longs before this lull. I sense that we are confident (hopeful) but time has a way of eroding some of it. It now looks like a waiting game for the longs. Patience...patience...patience...

Wow, can you believe what they said about the Chikuduk structure. The 7 structures are considered to have potential reserves of 1.1 billion barrels (discounted 85%) Now he says they believe the Chikuduk structure has more potential reserves than the other 15 combined. No wonder the focus has switched to this structure. Could it be that they had hoped to negotiate away the other structures and keep Chikuduk for themselves. I think when Woody became expendable, they had decided to JV everything and his services as managing the oil drilling site was no longer needed. They seem to have already made the assumption that they will be getting their share of the oil proceeds and are starting to focus on the asphalt business. All the pieces seem to be fitting into place if the information we have received has been accurate.

This is MHO

P.S. Don't you know, it would have been quicker if aipn had hired Jed Clampet as a consultant:

Now, let me tell you
One day he was shootin'
Old Jed was shootin' at some food
When all of a sudden right up from the ground, there
Well, there came a bubblin' crude
Oil that is Well, maybe you call it black gold or Texas tea
