This is starting to feel a lot like 1999. Stocks moving on unsubstantiated rumors of all kinds of things.

Remember people that not all real merger efforts even do take place.

I think anyone who just watched the actual AMAT Tokyo Electron merger fall apart would know that to be true.

My point is simple folks if you own AVGO or BRCM then take some profits. Do not chase rumors. Sell into them.

Maybe you all have plenty of cash set aside for the eventual slide that will be coming. Hopefully none of you are buying ALTR at $47 + a share thinking $56 is a done deal.

Even if it is more than just a rumor INTC is overpaying.

Just keeping it real.
