There is a very broad corporate myopia to the inevitability of the reduction, to potential actual outlawing of many of the uses of fossil fuels, as alternatives are now rapidly propagating..

The planet can't take it any more, and is showing us what is in store

..and powerful leaders, like the Pope, with an eye to future generations, are reacting accordingly

Just like the blindness to the water issues in Arizona, corporate hacks that are unable to compensate for what is happening on the planet will continue to lead their investors down dead end holes..

With their giant bets on coal and tar sands, well after any prudent manager should have made such allocations, we see that Teck suffers from the same type of shortsightedness as CUU management

There is always a reason those "good" deals look so good...
