In answer to your inquiry about switching to an SSD:

I did it with Win7 Pro and booting up was much quicker. Unfortunately, a problem developed getting QB up and working correctly on the new drive. The switch confused it because it doesn't know where to look for the permission files to get started. This is not the SSD's fault and I haven't taken the time so solve the problem because I dread dealing with QB customer disservice.
