I have converted win pro and win ultimate to ssd from sata. One desktop and two laptops so far. definite speed up booting. Also did my linux system. One thing I recommend is that you download and run belarc advisor. I will create a web page showing all kinds of good info on installed hardware and apps installed and license keys. I believe i had to reregister my win 7. example of belarc report. toms.homeip.net
