Dear Pierre: Your problem apparently is that you want to use logic in a stock where hype prevails. My question to Tom remains unanswered along with your numerous letters to Presstek and Cabot. If you feel manipulation is involved you may want to look into Howtek (see Edger) and see if any shareholders of Presstek were previously censured. The answer will be worth your time. I belive that conspiracy theory in a stock with this wide range of institutional ownership is a distraction from the true issue. Cabot hyped these major players into the stock and they are simply too ashamed to get out. The real question is can the same products be obtained from alternative sources. If so, the margins discussed in Tom's web page are way out of line. My only source says nothing special and nothing proprietary that would require a printer to go to Presstek at a premium price. I admit this is only one regional printer but I took the time to ask and wonder if anyone has done the same.
